The Bexley Pen Company was founded in 1993 by a handful of vintage pen enthusiasts. After decades of admiring, collecting, and restoring vintage writing instruments, Howard Bexley, the founder, wanted to use modem technology to create American classic designs reminiscent of the Golden Age of Fountain Pens. Bexley manufactures high quality writing instruments in Columbus, Ohio, USA and distributes them to dealers around the world.
Poseidon is a figure from Greek mythology, god of the sea, master of the watery depths.
The Bexley Poseidon Collection features caps and barrels with a translucent portion that allows you to see the 'watery depths' of the pen's inner workings. The translucent areas have bits of molten color. The cap and barrel ends, and grip section, are accented in the matching solid color.
Three color combinations are available: black with black and tortoise highlights; silver gray with gray and red highlights; and dark blue with blue and yellow highlights.
The fountain pen version is 5-3/16" long and 5/8" in diameter, so it fits comfortably in your hand and pocket. It is equipped with our two-tone 18K gold nib, in a fine, medium, large, or stub width.
The matching roller ball has the same dimensions, and comes with a widely available refill.

The fountain pens are equipped with high quality stainless steel nibs in a Fine, Medium, or Broad width.
If you prefer, it can be ordered with our 18K gold two-tone nib, in a Fine, Medium, Broad, or Broad Stub width for an additional charge. They accept international size cartridges, or can be filled from a bottle with the provided converter.
